A Ball for All: The Social Football – Premiere Screening
The event, organized by Ilías Mástoras, creator of A Ball for All, brought together everyone who has supported this global initiative. To celebrate its seventh anniversary, the city of Panorama welcomed distinguished guests, including Mákis Gagkátis, president of the Hellenic Football Federation, Dimitris Salpingídis, Greek football legend, and Strátos Chatzïapostolídis, Paralympic blind football champion.

Diane de Coubertin, descendant of the founder of the modern Olympic Games, presented the Pierre de Coubertin medal to Ignátios Kaitetzídis, ambassador of the campaign, as well as to Ilías Mástoras, in recognition of their dedication.

In front of a packed audience of 218 people from Greece and abroad, the documentary A Ball for All: The Social Football was screened. Directed by Varvára Doumanídou, it features an original soundtrack composed by Loukía Kasamákï, an 11-year-old girl born blind. Loukía delivered an incredibly moving performance, playing the piano and singing in multiple languages.

The film follows the journey of the specially designed sound ball across 215 countries. This patented football, created for visually impaired children, is not for sale—it is only given as a gift. Its impact has been recognized and supported by football legends such as Xavi Hernández, Didier Drogba, Cafu, Kaká, Erling Haaland, and Jack Grealish.

The documentary was made possible with the support of the UEFA Foundation for Children and the Erasmus+ Sport program.
